It's been to Long!!!
It's been a long time with no blogging from me. I have decided to give it another shot and hopefully get some better results. So what has happened to me since I have last posted? Well, I no longer am a blood angels player! I went to Necrons so because a lot of people refused to play me "blood angels are to cheesy". That was the response I got a lot. But now... I have switched to Grey Knights. This is not because I did not have good results with my Necrons but because I love the GK fluff. I will still build my Necron larger for the anticipation of the codex release but until then I will be throwing down the GK army every time I get a chance. I bought a Dreadknight, 10 Terminators, 20 PAGK's, Drago, Crowe, 6 Jokaero Weaponsmiths, and 20 DC Assassins (really I bought 20 DE wyches that are my DC Assassins.) All is built except for the DK which is half built and the 20 DC Assassins. I want to start painting as soon as possiable but this is still my weak part in my game. I have not yet developd the skill that I thought I would have by this point. I have a few test models that I didand put a video on youtube that I will attach to this blog at the end. If your reading this please give me some feedback on my work, it would be much appreciated. I have played a few games with my GK army and have found some success, I really love the DC assassins, I plan on using alto of these in my armies of the future. I'm going to cut this off now ad get back to work. Please if you read this, help me get the word out about my 40k blog and also my YouTube channel, I want to grow, and learn, and tech others about 40k. Signing off, Teageltron40k

League Match #4
I was 1-2 before yesterdays match against the Eldar. I was coming off of a 2 match losing streak, I needed a win very badly.
It was 1:30 on Thursday afternoon and my opponent had finally arrived. After setting up terrain I was happy with both sides. We rolled off and he won both of the rolls to pick table side and to go first, luckily I took Brother Corbolo because I needed to seize. He set up like he expected me to seize and didn't want me to destroy him on turn one. I set up in a very aggressive position as far forward as I could. I roll to seize, I rolled a 3. Last chance. I roll and it's a 6. That was the first time I had ever done that so i was very happy.
Time to fight. I move very little just enough to avoid some of his cover saves. I shoot my Baal preds and take out four of his ten bikes. I don't know what kind they were other then they were the troop ones with a warlock attached and an HQ. I shoot four twin linked las cannons and four more las cannons from my preds and my razorbacks and I only mannage to shake three of his four transports. none of my hunter killer missiles managed to even hit, that's seven misses. This was not going good for me. His turn. He cast fortune and guide (whatever makes him re-roll hits) on his bikes and his Dire Avengers. He moves up twelve and unloads three units of Fire Dragons and a unit of Dire Avengers. He is outside of his melt range for everything but two Fire Dragons and somehow manages to wreak my Land Raider so I unload my big guys. This unit had five termys (four with t-hammers), a librarian in termy armor and storm shield, a reclusiarch, and a priest in termy armor. This unit was awesome. well after the rest of his shooting I lost no other tanks and no one from the termy squad. He decided it was best to assault my termy squad with his two Fire Dragon squads. I managed to not lose anything and kill over half of one squad and almost half of the other. They both fell back.
Turn two. I move termys into assault range, tanks very little to get better shots off, and dropped off a five man assault squad and priest that were ready to assault some fire dragons. I shoot everything again and shake two tanks/ immobilize one and kill some bikes. My shooting was going very poorly. My termys assault the unit of Fire Dragons that were above half and two tanks while my assault marines attacked another unit of fire dragons. My termy squad killed the fire dragons and blew up both transports killing one of my termys. My assault marines manage to kill the entire squad. His turn two. He moves his bikes next to my assault marines and their razorback. He shoots my assault marines and kills one. He shoots everything else and kills one more termy. He assault my termys with the dire avengers and my assault marines with his bikes. This begins a very painful next three rounds.
For the remainder of that round and the next three i was trapped in CC. I couldn't kill anything to save my life. At the end of turn five he had managed to kill my entire termy unit with a unit of dire avengers and Eldrad. I was so mad at this point. My assault marines were still alive with Brother Corbolo and they had almost finished off the bikes. My tanks had to sit by for 3 turns watching a very very bad CC display from my army.
The dice was rolled and we went on to turn six. Finally my tanks had something to shoot at, and they did just that. I unloaded everything I had into five dire avengers and eldrad, plastering their blood to the side of the terrain they were standing beside. My shooting had finally lived up to it's potential. End of six and the game was over.
Before points were added up it was clear that I had won.
I was not happy with my army by no means but was very excited to be back on the winning side of 40k.
Thanks for everyone that read this and please leave some comments to help me improve my blog and future battle reports.

The League
So at the comic shop they currently have a 40K league going on. What is this you might ask. Basically every 2 weeks you have to play a game. Every match will be against someone different. I think this is like the 6th match up of the league. I came into it late so I'm a little behind on games. my current record is 1-2. I won my first against Orcs, and lost the next two against Daemons and Orcs.
The league is a little sketchy for a few reasons. First, you have several days from when you find out who you play next and what army that play to basically build a counter to that list. Second, you have several days to talk to others and find out exactly what your enemy like to play in his army. This is very bad for me. I have only been playing 40K since March. So i have not played all of the armies that 40K has to offer yet. Therefor I "did" not know what it meant when someone told me "watch out for him he likes to run ALOT of blood letters." Well I do now haha. This is also bad for me because I only had 2000 points of Blood Angels. So EVERYONE knew exactly what they would be facing when they drew my name to fight.
I now have about 4500 points of Blood Angels and I'm ready to start turning my luck around.
The match ups are in and it looks like I'm facing an Eldar army. ...umm...uhhh... I don't have the first clue of what is even inside the Eldar codex much less of how to beat them. I will play them one week form today and my list is set. My game plan is to win first turn and to take out at least the 3 most intimidating things on the table. I think that if i can do this I will have a good shot of getting back on the winning side of 40K.
Thanks for reading my post and I hope everyone is excited as I am for next week.
